Course objectives
At the end of this course students will be able to: - understand the economical way of thinking -Get to know the most important terms and their practical use in field of economy -Use a gained knowledge for underestading practical examples from the Czech and worldwide economics.
Syllabus
  • 1. Basic concepts 2. Market and its properties 3. Balance consumer 4. Demand, quantity demanded and change 5. Elasticity of demand 6. Supply 7. Firms cost 8. Competition 9. Measurement of economic performance 10. Economic growth and business cycles 11. Inflation 12. Labor market 13. Macroeconomic policy of the state In the exercises, students will solve the current issues of economics, that will be present.
