- At the end of the course students should be able to: - define criminology and its methodology - apply knowledge into security forces work
- Syllabus
- The concept and the subject of criminology. Methodology and methods of criminology as a science. Status, structure and dynamics of crime, latent crime, crime statistics. Personality of the offender. A crime victim. Recidivism. Juvenile delinquency and prekriminalita. Economic and property crime. Alcohol and non-alcohol drug addiction. Organized crime. Cyber crime. Ethnic crime. Violent and sexual crimes. Women's crime. Fundamentals of Probation and post-penitencial care. Penology.
