Course objectives
The main objective of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge in physical therapy and its use in prevention, diagnostics and treatment. The course introduces students into the bio physical effects ofdifferent types ofphysical therapy and physiological response of the organism to their application. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to understandt he importance and be aware of indications and contraindications of mechanotherapeutic, thermotherapeutic, phototherapeutic, electrotherapeutic and magnetotherapeutic treatments of physical therapy and their combinations.
The main objective of this course is to provide students with basic practical skills in classical, sports and reflex massage and to apply individual procedures in all areas of physical therapy Students will be able to link theoretical knowledge with practical skills and individually take into account the whole range of physical therapy indications and contraindications for a specific diagnosis.
