Course objectives
Provide an overview of the latest findings in the field of research into methods and effectiveness of conditioning for athletes in the Czech Republic and abroad. Introduce modern technological aids in the field of development and diagnostics of the effectiveness of sports and fitness training, Provide an overview of the issues of compiling and implementing sports-diagnostic tests Introduce basic concepts of research into both performance and preventive conditioning
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the subject Science and Sport, the student will be able to actively seek and analyze the latest knowledge in the field of athletic training. The student will also be able to:
• To acquire current technological aids in the field of sports and fitness training,
• assemble and implement sports-diagnostic tests,
• prepare the basic concept of research in the field of sport.
