Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to deepen knowledge of techniques and tactics for advanced players. To gain knowledge about long-term players training (annual training cycle, etc.).
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - Design and implement appropriate badminton exercises (technical and tactical) for more advanced players - To propose an individual and group annual training plan, including its evaluation
Syllabus
  • Organization, rules: rules, competition rules, terminology, organization of competitions, BWF, BEC, qualification of coaches, equipment and equipment, professional literature
  • Badminton history
  • Technique: missile hold, methodical training of technically demanding strokes - practice of strokes (held-in clears, chopped drop, slice, slice, stick smash, smash defense), crossbreaks on the net and defense , move around the court
  • Tactics: advanced tactics (singles, doubles, mix), awareness, decision making
  • Physical training: fitness training (development of speed, endurance, strength and coordination) and its principles (intensity and dosage training), circular training, rope training
  • Sports preparation of youth: the specifics of children and youth training, games in sports preparation of children
  • Planning and recording of sports training: Planning of sports training + planning and organizing of fitness and game conferences, coach's diary, training log of the player
  • Match analysis
  • Player Testing: Training Testing: Motor Performance Tests, Complex Body and Technical Readiness Tests, Functional Exercise Tests
  • Using modern techniques and new knowledge in badminton
  • Regeneration of players: basics of massage, compensatory exercises, player nutrition, yoga, water procedures, sauna, diet - badminton focused

Teaching methods
Practical and theoretical instruction.
Assessment methods
Exam. Written exam. The final test is usually composed of 50 questions, the questions are open. To succeed, you need 90% success. Practical exam. In the practical part, the applicant prepares and demonstrates: a part of the training unit with a group of players; conducting progressive exercises of stroke and motion techniques; tactical training and training of 4 players in tactics; warm-up, physical training and fitness training of a group of players. The practical test evaluates: the personal effects of the coach (appearance, calm, clear and expressive voice, ability of brief explanation); organizational capacity - division and employment of the group; demonstration (or demonstration by the player) and explanation of strikes; accurate recording; knowledge and error correction in tactical techniques and tactics; in fitness training, choice and order of exercises, demonstration, bug fixes, dosing.
