- Course objectives
- Students know the physiological testing of human reaction and adaptation to pohysical load.
Students should can apply the knowledge at their dissertation. - Syllabus
- 1. Aims of stress tests. Kind of physical load in laboratory and field. 2. Safety conditions of tests. Helath indications and contraindications to stress tests. Solutions of sudden helath problems. 3. Indicators of physical stress, phyziological parameters of reaction to stress - cardiorespiratory, biochemical etc., thir interpretations. 4. Stress tests on traedmill and at track. 5. Specific approaches to stress tests of children and seniors. 6. Bicycle spiroergometry - testing of aerobic and anaerobic abilities (VO2max, oxygen deficit, dept and halftime). 7. Measuring of O2 intake in field by radiotelemetric analytic system. 8. Anaerobic threshold - definition, using, principles and methods of determination (lactate and ventilatory-respiratory threshold). 9. Anylysis heart rate variability - tests of autonomic nervous regulations. 10. Special part - after thesis of doctoral studnets. Individual study of students.
