- Course objectives
- The goal of this course is to introduce the students into physical activities from the area of applied psychomotricity and into possibilities of their use with different target groups with specific needs.
- Learning outcomes
- After finishing this course students will be able to:
- understand the possibilities of using psychomotor activities and games for people with special needs
-use psychomotor activities and games in physical activity courses and programmes /PE, leisure-time activities, including managing the integrated persons in common groups/ - form a lesson plan of adapted physical activities with psychomotor features, juggling, etc. and to adapt it according to specific needs of the particular target group - Syllabus
- • Psychomotricity and its role within adapted physical activities for different target groups • Psychomotor exercises and games suitable for people with special needs –physical disability • Psychomotor exercises and games suitable for people with special needs - visual disability • Psychomotor exercises and games suitable for people with special needs – hearing disability • Psychomotor exercises and games suitable for people with special needs - mental disability • Psychomotor exercises and games suitable for people with ADHD • Demonstration of a lesson plan of adapted physical activities with features of psychomotricity, juggling, etc. in relation to the target group • Demonstration of physical activities with focus on a target group with subsequent analysis and feedback – physical disability • Demonstration of physical activities with focus on a target group with subsequent analysis and feedback – visual disability • Demonstration of physical activities with focus on a target group with subsequent analysis and feedback – hearing disability • Demonstration of physical activities with focus on a target group with subsequent analysis and feedback – mental disability • Demonstration of physical activities with focus on a target group with subsequent analysis and feedback – seniors
