Course objectives
The aim of subject is to provide knowledges about specifics of development speed and coordination skills in their various modalities and forms. The another aim of subject is to educate students in selection of forms of development speed and coordination skills in context with age and perfomance specifics.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the subject "Development speed and coordination skills" student will be able to:
apply excersises on development coordination and speed in various age ad perfomance category,
apply different speed and coordination specific and no-specific forms on different sports,
to present actual recommendation of aplication methods and forms in speed and coordination training.
Syllabus
  • Excersises:
  • excersises, methods and forms of development of balance skills,
  • excersises, methods and forms of development of kinesthetic- diferentiation skills,
  • excersises, methods and forms of development of spatial orientaion in sport,
  • rhytmizing excersises, methods, forms of development of coordination skills,
  • excersises for development of ideomotorics function,
  • excersises for development of gnostic function,
  • resstance training of speed (acceleration and maximal speed),
  • assistant training of speed (maximal speed),
  • contrasting training of speed,
  • deveopment of player´s speed, change of direction speed and speed of one shot movements,
  • development of frequency and reaction speed.

Practical excersises with theoretical interpretation
Assessment methods
Practical excersises of appropriate excersises for development of the specific coordination and speed skill (at least 7 excersises) specified by teacher. Test - 15 question (closed), 70% success rate
