Course objectives
The aim of subject is provide knowledge about specifics, methods and forms of endurance training. The another aim is to educate the students with the correct technique, intensity and volume in endurance activities in different groups of population.
Learning outcomes
After successfull completion of the subject " Specific excersises in endurance activities" student will be able to:
To realise the correct technique of selected endurance activities (running, cycling, nordic walking, nordic running...),
To apply different endurance specific and no-specific activities for different sports activities,
to present actual recomendation in aplication of methods and forms using in endurance activities.
Syllabus
  • Seminars:
  • Technique of running and walking, bose running, (model technique, mistakes and their correction, specifics in sports disciplines,
  • Technique of nordic walking and nordic running,
  • Technique of cycling (trail, road, model technique, mistakes and their correction),
  • Technique of inline skating,
  • High intensity interval training,
  • Extensive interval training,
  • Fartlek,
  • Continual endurance training,
  • Repetitive training of anaerobic capacity,
  • Game based training to development of endurance and theirs modality.

Theory and practical excersises.
Assessment methods
Demonstration of technique of running, walking and cycling. Test - 15 questions (closed), 70% succes rate.

Teacher's information
MTB, NW and Inline lessons are held outside the FSpS premises, and the place and time are always specified well in advance based on mutual agreement. In the case of unfavorable weather, students are notified no later than 1 hour before the lesson to move the lesson to another date for safety reasons.
