- Course objectives
- Students of Sports Management should be aware of the importance of team skills as a necessary aspect of team work.
The objective of this course is to introduce the students into the field of team skills, team roles, team goals and team characteristics. Additional topics, such as effective communication and cooperation, feedback and evaluation, group dynamics phases and team motivation will be covered as well. Individual topics will be presented by means of a necessary theoretical background, followed by practical activities. - Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course students will be able to:
-define basic team skills (communication, presentation, cooperation, flexibility, feedback and evaluation, creativity)
-define team structure, team goals, team roles and important aspects of an effective team cooperation
-describe group dynamics phases
-define and evaluate (on the basis of practical activities and exercises) their status within the study group from the point of view of team roles, communication or cooperation - Syllabus
