Course objectives
• The students will improve and extend their practical coaching, exercise, and didactic skills under the guidance of experienced coaches and trainers (appointed and confirmed by the guarantor of the specialization) • The students will enhance their practical knowledge gained in the the course Practice in Coaching Methodology I • They will prepare and run training sessions following their consultation with coaches and trainers. • They will analyze training units and exercise sessions. • They will be acquainted with the Dartfish system. • They will learn how to use Garmin sport testers • They will learn about the functions of Polar team system II in the seminar sessions.
Learning outcomes
The students will be able to: • prepare and run training sessions and exercise sessions following their consultation with coaches and trainers • run training sessions and exercise sessions under the guidance of assigned trainers • analyze training units and exercise sessions • work with the Dartfish system • work with Garmin sport testers • use Polar team II system
Syllabus
  • Based on their specialization, the students are assigned to sport clubs in which they run training and exercise sessions under the guidance of coaches and trainers. The students’ practice consists of 26 lessons per semester, each lesson per 45 min, which corresponds to thirteen 90 minute units. The students prepare a training plan of their whole practice and they record in detail the process of all training sessions. In order to complete their task successfully they make use of the knowledge they gained in the course Practice in Coaching Metodology I in which they learnt how to use the electronic Training Diaries. By means of self-study, the students learn the basic function of the software program Dartfish. A handbook, including the user’s guide video is available on-line (e-learning based). The students will then complete their tasks with the use of their own recordings or the recordings from the video database containing match or competition shots or partial shots of individual sports. The students will be given access to the software program Dartfish. They will further learn the functions of Garmin sport testers and Polar system and how to use them to plan training process. Students will be able to borrow sport testers. Study materials will be e-learning based. A seminar session will be conducted to acquaint the students with the Polar system use.

Assessment methods
The students will submit a record of their attendance of the training sessions (13 pieces, each 90 min). The students will sumbit the analysis of selected activities in the Dartfish system. The students will submit the analysis of selected training session with the use of Garmin sport tester. The students will participate in the seminar session devoted to the use of Polar Team II system.
