Course objectives
Students will be familiarized with the game's basic rules, terminology, and theoretical knowledge about the game and its contents. The practical part of the subject focuses on the practice of attacking and defensive football skills and the practical interpretation of theoretical knowledge. This knowledge and skills will be used in students' further study and practice. Basic structure, content and principles of distinctive parts of the teaching unit will be presented in this subject. Students will practice delivering the preparatory part of the unit, discussing both methodological and didactic procedures.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this seminar, students will be able to explain the basic terminology and basic rules of the game and will be able to prepare and design the teaching unit. Students will be able to describe and explain the basic systematics of game performance in football, understand the rules of football, and be able to demonstrate selected individual gameplay activities and a sequence of individual gameplay activities in practice.

Teaching methods
Practical exercises; Self-study tasks: the study of football theory, Improving football skills. Task control: technical skills test
Assessment methods
Football knowledge and skill tests, active participation in exercises (80 % seminar attendance). Gaming skills will be tested during an exercise where the student receives the ball, dribbles and then shoots the ball on the goal within a given time limit. The final written test consists of 20 questions. If a student makes more than four mistakes, he or she must sit a re-test. The final evaluation consists of partial assessments of the practical skill test and a written test on football rules and theory. The assessment also includes handing in a warm-up plan and evaluation of another student's work via the Peer Assessment app. This subject assumes individual study of the rules, as well as individual skills training.

Practical seminars take place on artificial grass in the vicinity of Tatran Bohunice six times in the semester. We recommend using turf or football shoes during practical seminars. The interactive course syllabus serves as supporting information and organizational material.
