Course objectives
Lectures:The main goal of this course is to provide basic knowledge in Physical therapy and its usage in prevention, examination and therapy of musculoskeletal and nervous system influencing all parts of human existence as a part of comprehensive rehabilitation. It´s important to meet a student with general principles of individual physical therapy parts, physiological or patophysiological organism response on their application and with possibilities of electrotherapy and combined therapy.
Practical course: The main goal of this subject is to provide practical skills in electrotherapy especially focused on more difficult electrotherapy procedures manual application.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students be able to:
- understand importance of Phytsical therapy and its position in short-term rehabilitation plan;
- make reasoned decisions about indications and contraindications of procedures of physical therapy;
- goal of therapy and its best realization.
