- CHILDREN'S AEROBICS in the teaching process of kindergarten and 1st grade elementary school (programme FSpS, C-SPP)
- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to present the possibilities of how to appropriately incorporate aerobics into the teaching process of kindergartens and primary schools. The use of rhythmic exercises, motivational terminology and basic steps of aerobics in the period of motor development of preschool and younger school-age children. Includes gymnastic training, demonstration of the exercise unit and safety principles when exercising with children.
- Learning outcomes
- Theory - emphasis on age patterns and principles of selecting elements in children's aerobics, exercise intensity, the child's body's response to physical exertion and motor development. Children's aerobics for the age category 4-7 years - teaching basic steps using rhymes and games, rhythmic gymnastics, teaching children to perceive and respond to music, to distinguish tempo and rhythm. Children's aerobics for the age category 7-10 years - practicing the technique of basic steps in aerobics with musical accompaniment, gradual building into blocks - choreography, practicing correct posture, basic gymnastics to develop versatility and coordination skills, flexibility.
