- The main goals of the educational process involve:
- the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness
- the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress
- the support of students healthy lifestyle
- the training of correct stereotytes for human locomotion in cycling - Learning outcomes
- After completing the subject, the student will know elements of riding a bike (correct posture, climb, descents, riding in a group, use non-verbal signals,..., know the basic principles of orientation in cycling and the principles of warm-up and relaxation before and after the ride.

- Rides in the surroundings of Brno, continuous development of endurance skills, elements of road cycling technique (correct posture, climbs, descents, riding in a group, use of non-verbal signals,...), safety, nutrition + drinking regime, basic principles of orientation when riding a bicycle, the principles of warm-up and relaxation before and after the ride

- Information about PE courses can be found at www.fsps.muni.cz/cus/. You need your own road bike (eventually Gravel/Cyclocross bike-CX) bike, helmet, spare tube or glue and tools to repair a defect. The course takes place in the spring semester always in the period April-May (usually the 10th-12th week of the semester- MTB cycling on Friday afternoon, road cycling on Saturday) in the autumn semester in the period September-October (usually in the 1nd-3th week of the semester. Credit will be awarded for completing three rides. Departure points for individual rides will be sent by e-mail registered in the seminar group. The total time of one ride (incl. stops and practice exercises) is approx. 4-5 hours.
