Course objectives
The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle The students are divided into groups according to their abilities (beginners, intermediate, advanced)and helps master game activities.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able: - to be capable of using basic volleyball skills and abilities in accord with the valid game rules
Syllabus
  • Beginners: training of overhead pass, forearm pass, smashing, underhand service, overhand service Intermediate: mastering of basic volleyball skills (different kinds of passes, smashing, jump service, block)in more demanding game situations Advanced: mastering of all the game skills in complex game situations (for former volleyball players only)
