- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to present the broad use of dietary supplements in sport on the basis of the current knowledge.
- Learning outcomes
- Aftre completing the course students will be able to:
- define dietary supplements;
- read food labels correctly;
- orient and recommend dietary supplements for athletes in support of regeneration, adaptation and enhancement of sports performance;
- include nutrition supplements in the athlete's diet in order to optimize sports training;
- Assess the rationale for using food supplements in sport. - Syllabus
