Course objectives
The course is based on the accepted assumption that lifestyle choices, especially the dynamics and the structure of material consumption and free-time activities, have a decisive impact on nature (apart from population size and technologies). The course seeks to find and interpret environmentally friendly lifestyle choices and stresses the connections with mainstream lifestyle choices. It also attempts to question some journalistic stereotypes.
Students will gain basic knowledge and approaches necessary for their choice of masters thesis in the area of lifestyle choices.
