- Course objectives
- This course is designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of Microsoft Excel, a powerful spreadsheet application widely used in various professional fields. The focus is on building essential skills for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. Through hands-on exercises and practical examples, students will gain confidence in using Excel for both personal and professional tasks. In addition, the course provides basic skills for managing data and designing interactive dashboards in Microsoft Power BI, which equips students with a fundamental skillset in professional visualizations and powerful data analysis.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, the students will be able to: Understand and navigate Excel interface components; Enter and edit data accurately; Format text, numbers, and dates; Manage worksheets; Sort data; Create and customize basic charts; Create and use PivotTables; navigate Power BI and Power Query interfaces; design interactive dashboards; Manipulate and visualize data; Cleanse and prepare datasets; Extract desired data outcomes; and optimize workflow between Power BI and Excel. .
