Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge in the field of human resource management, which is an essential part of the complex process of managing an organization and to introduce and master the basic methods of analysis and planning in the field of human resources. Particular emphasis is placed on clarifying the links among strategy, organisation and human resource management as a complex indivisible whole in which the different elements condition and influence each other. The mastering of the initial prerequisites of human resource management, which are human resource planning and personnel analysis, is the basic starting point for a systems approach in human resource management.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
- describe and apply selected methods of human resources analysis
- select and apply an appropriate method to analyse a specific problem in the field of human resources management
- identify an organisation's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the field of human resource
- describe and develop a human resources plan
- develop a human resource management strategy for a selected organisation

  • 7. Analysis of labour demand and supply in the organisation.
  • 8. Analysis in recruitment and selection.
  • 9. Analysis of motivation system. Remuneration and job evaluation.
  • 10. Analysis of the quality of human resources. Analysis of diversity.
  • 11. Analysis of education and development of human resources in the organization.
  • 12. Formulation of plans in the field of human resource management.
