Course objectives
To get to know core texts and discussions in the field of anthropology of poverty, especially in urban perspective. What is important is also to link the theory to current praxis of Czech anthropologists.
Learning outcomes
Ability to discuss critically topics of poverty, gain knowledge about current Czech research on poverty.

20% homework, 20% text presentation, 50% essey - with consultation of the topic prior to handing it in. 10% presentation of the essay and its progress
