Kurz je zaměřen na problematiku budování bezpečnostní politiky Evropy s důrazem na její vývoj v 90. letech v rámci struktur Evropské unie a Severoatlantické aliance a na předpokládané tendence v krátkodobém a střednědobém horizontu.

  • 1. Bezpečnostní politika, terminologie a základní koncepce. 2. Historické souvislosti pokusů o zajišťování bezpečnosti v Evropě . 3. ZEU jako pokus o nástroj k zajištění "evropské bezpečnosti". 4. Vývoj transatlantické vazby v rámci Severoatlantické aliance. 5. SZBP a EBOP. Geneze, záměry a skutečnost. 6. Velká Británie, Francie a jejich postoj k EBOP. 7. SRN a její postoj k EBOP. 8. Postoje USA a Ruska k EBOP. 9. Postoje dalších států k EBOP. 10. Česká republika a EBOP. 11.
