Course objectives
This course is intended a scientific overview contemporary conceptualization of terrorism. Students should be able to categorize various forms of terrorism. Students should be able to analyze and to predict terrorist elements in political violent activities.

Conceptualizing of terrorism in international relations; 5. Conceptualizing of terrorism in law; 6. Conceptualizing of terrorism in other sciencies; 8. Teaching methods
The course takes the form of both lectures and seminars. There are explained important issues within lectures, which are further discussed during seminars. Presentation of outlines of students' seminar works is a part of a seminar, as well as presentation of the position papers (related with literature).
Assessment methods
Students will receive a final letter grade (A-F) for the semester based on the following components: position papers (6 points), referate (6 points). seminary thesis (18 points); final written exam (30 points). Grading: 56-60: A 51-55: B 46-50: C 41-45: D 36-40: E 35-0: F.
