- Course objectives
- Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to understand the sociopolitical doctrines in Czech history - in the Habsburg era 1860-1918, in the so called First and Second Czechoslovac Republic and after 1945. Students will be able to identify the basic characteristics of the Czech politics and policy in the view of long-terms processes of its formation, to understand and explain long-term traditions of Czech Politics, to characterize the traditions and to compare the traditions of Czech politics.

- One essay (in the run of the semestr) in the range 7200-10800 signs on the one of the scheduled topics. One exam essay - at least 6 out of 10 points (7 points for argumentation, 2 points for stylistics, 1 point for good grammar). The topic will be presented at the start of writing.
