Course objectives
Aim of the course is to broaden the knowledge of the European Parliament, special attention will be paid to practical information of its functioning and competences. Students will be introduced to the teoretical background as well as pracital info. This information will include lectures led by experts active within the European Parliament policy. Attention will be paid to the existing research in the field of behavior of the members of the Parliament and analyzes of roll-call-votes (RCV).

Teaching methods
The course is based on lectures and guided discussion. Active student participation is expected in lectures, in which will be presented the results of teamwork on the chosen topic.
Assessment methods
The course is finished by an oral examination. The students must attend the midterm test - and pass for the lowest level required. Another requirement is to write and present a group thesis on topic connected to RCV.
