Kredity jsou přiznávány na základě úspěšné obhajoby odborného textu, představujícího konceptuálně teoretické, metodologické a pramenné charakteristiky projektu disertace (blíže viz sylab) před komisí složenou ze školitelů a členů oborové rady. Předmět je povinně zapisován ve třetím semestru studia.
