Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
to understand and explain the basic rules for journalistic writing and genres (news and feature);
to understand rountines in the newsrooms;
to create news for different types of media;
to gain overview about Czech media landscape and its recent development;
to interpret the basic theories of journalism;
to work with information on media laws and ethical norms.
