- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students will be able to define and decsribe basics of psychopatological phenomenon, terms and patological states of mind. Students should comprehend the disorganised human psyche in general coherency.
- Syllabus
- Introduction, basic terms, limits and concepts of the domain. Basic questions of normality and pathology. Preview of etology of mental disorders. Perception disorders.
- Thinking disorders, delusions. Memory disorders.
- Emotionality, characteristics and disorders. Intelect disorders. Attention disorders.
- Consciousness and its disorders. Orientation disturbances, volition and conduct disorders. Drives and instincts, disturbances of.
- Psychopathological syndromes, basics of psychiatric nosology. Organic disorders with mental manifestation. Personality disorders.
- Substance abuse induced disorders, dependence. Psychotic disorders, schizophreny. Mood disorders. Neurotic disorders. Revision, casuistics.
