- Course objectives
- In course we shall focus on conceptualization of reflective practice in social work. Reflective/reflexive practice is often understand as an ability of social worker to perceive his/her own feelings and motivation. There are different version of reflectivity/reflexivity which can be seen as an ability of social worker to perceive structural pressures and his/her role in the oppressive processes. We shall understand that reflexivity has many types or components. As well we shall search how reflexivity can be integrated to the personal practice.
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
- to understand the concept of reflexive or reflective practice;
- to understand different conceptions of reflexivity;
- to practise different methods of reflection and selfreflection
; - to involve reflexivity to the personal/professional coping - Learning outcomes
- After completing the course the student will be able to:

- to define different concepts of reflexive and reflective thinking;
