- Course objectives
- The course aims to introduce the systemic Satirs´model of working with families of Virginie Satir. The course focuses both on the philosophy of the given approach and the specific methods and techniques of working with the client and his family in the institutional environment of social work. The course has a distinctive dimension of self-experience, its participants gain an impetus for personal growth in the context of their own experiences of family and partnership relationships. Course participants are acquainted with the forms of application of the growth model in solving the problematic life situations of the clients they encounter in the performance of social work.

- * The graduate knows the terminology of Virginia Satir's systemic model.
* The graduate is able to apply the terminology of Virginia Satira's systemic model when assessing the client's situation.
* The graduate is able to use selected techniques of Virginia Satir's systemic model when working with a client in the context of social work.
* The graduate is able to use Virginia Satira's systemic model in processing her own life experiences.
