Course objectives
The course focuses on media representation of marginalized identities. Its main goal to intruduce this problematic to the course attendees and through examplex and discussions come to the conclusion why (and how) could be some representations negative (but also positive) and possibly harmful.
Learning outcomes
The course attendees should be able to use correct arguments in discussions about marginalized identities. They should be able to identify harmful or neutral media content representing different marginalized identities. Attendees should be also able to improve their teamwork.

Teaching methods
Researching examples from media content (movies, TV series, commercials etc.), class discussion, reading.
Assessment methods
Presence in classes (80 % presence), doing homework (researching examplex and reading), activity in classes (participation in discussion). Oral exam in groups of 3-4 in a form of grou discussion about one of the themes that were discussed during the semestr.
