- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide a framework for the student to deliver a conference paper and demonstrate the relevant basic research skills. The parameters of the presentation are specified below under Assessment methods.
- Learning outcomes
- The student is able to independently present the results of their research at a conference in the field after completing the course. The output of the course is the delivery of the conference paper.

- Individual consultations.
- Assessment methods
- Credits are awarded for an oral presentation (not a poster) at a national or international conference which needs to be evidenced by submitting the text of the paper (or the ppt) and a confirmation of attendance of the conference. In case of a multiple authorship, the student must be the first author. In the case of co-authoring a paper with two authors as the second author, the performance is evaluated as a 50% fulfilment of the given requirement (i.e. the student must deliver two papers, or three papers when co-authoring a paper with three authors). The student must prove their attendance of the conference by submitting the conference program or a written confirmation of attendance and the text of the paper.
