- Course objectives
- The course is conceived to summarize and deepen the methodological skills, accumulated during the study. Its primary aim is to provide the students with competencies to design their own empirical study in the form of quantitative survey of secondary analysis. The seminar form of lectures focuses on the elaboration of individual diploma thesis or individual project. The additional goal is to provide students with the ability to critically review and interpret the results of quantitative surveys. There are three teaching blocks: epistemological background, basic stages of the quantitative research, logic of quantitative statistical analysis.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to: - to design the quantitative research - to analyze the quantitative data by the means of the basic statistical methods - to interpret the results of quantitative publications and to critically review and interpret them.
