- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to outline labor market policy as a specific area of social policy to the students. At the end of the course students will be able: to identify basic processes at the labor market and their possible impacts on specific positions of individuals and social groups at the labor market and society; to understand relations between social and economical mechanism that participate at formation of the labor market features; to explain specific principals, targets, tools and impacts of the labor market policy; to understand the management, administration and organization of Public employment services in the Czech Republic and abroad; to use the acquired knowledge for the formation of labor market policy targets for specific group of unemployed at the labor market.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to explain concrete principals, targets, tools and impacts of labor market policy; to use the acquired knowledge for creation of the project targeted at specific group of actors at the labor market.

- Assessment methods
- Students are preparing continuously according to the theme and literature in the syllabus. The paper is the precondition for participation at the final examination. The aim of the paper is the practical exercise of the knowledge about differentiated risks of unemployment, labor market policy tools and practical exercise of knowledge about possible forms of work with unemployment. The paper should have approximately 8 standard pages. The submitted is the project proposal that solve the unemployment problem or difficult position of chosen risk group of unemployed at the labor market. The paper evaluation comprises 30% of the final mark. Final examination has written form.
