Course objectives
The main aim of this course is to introduce students essentials of psychological research. During this course students are taught how to conduct psychological research and how to review research reports.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
a. propose and conduct a psychological research project;
b. formulate research goals, research questions and hypotheses;
c. choose appropriate research design;
d. choose appropriate sampling method and data collection method;
e. work with scientific literature according to standards;
f. write research report.

  • The course is organized as a series of biweekly topics which include lectures, seminars, homework and required reading.

Assessment methods
Assessment of the final research project (50 points);
Final written exam (50 points);

Seminars are obligatory (5 from 6). Final exam consists of theory and applied questions based on short research report.

To pass the course, student needs to meet all deadlines, get at least 25 p. for the project, at least 25 p. for the final exam and at least 50 p. together.
