- Course objectives
- The course introduces and discusses key issues of ageing global populations in the broader context of population studies. The aim is to introduce learners to the sources of ageing, its dynamics and societal impacts from a global and systemic perspective.
- Learning outcomes
- - identify and describe the current demographic and societal sources of ageing, their solutions and future prospects;
- describe the factors that influence systems for dealing with population ageing from the perspective of global/supranational actors;
