Course objectives
The course aims to introduce International Relations as a discipline, with its development, structure and key terms such as power, interests, conflict and cooperation. Actors of international relations will be explained and the nature of the international system will be discussed. In the second part of the course, students will learn about globalization and its impact. Last but not least, they will be introduced to the basics of international political economy and political geography.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to explain the nature and genesis of International Relations as a discipline, define key terms of the discipline and apply them when analysing international relations on particular levels of analysis.

Two online tests and a final exam.
1st online test: 20 points
2nd online test: 20 points
Final exam: 60 points
For successful completion of the course, students must acquire at least 61 points.
