- Course objectives
- To learn about the economic and sociological theories of the labour market and unemployments. The students should understand the relationships between economic and social mechanisms in the labour market. Make the students knowledgeable of the methods of analysis of the labour market.
- Learning outcomes
- Learning outcomes after completing the course the student - understands the processes on the labour market - understands the contexts of the intervenmtion into the labour market - is able to analyse the problems of the labour market - is able to furmulate at the general level the possible intervenctions
- Syllabus
- Makaroekonomic perspective, growth and unemployment, inflation and unemployment, the types of unemployment. Parcial(micro) perspektive: labour supply, labour demand Static equilibrium in labour market, voluntary and involuntary unemployment. Dynamic equilibrium, theory of job search. Hysteresis of the labour market. Institucionál teories. Segmentation of the labour market. Neo-keynesian theories.
