Course objectives
The subject focuses on introducing transactional analysis as one of the possible approaches to working with people in organizations. Its aim is to impart the students with the knowledge and skills enabling them to apply the theory of transactional analysis when working with individuals and groups both in the setting of the workplace and outside of it. Introducing the basic concepts of transactional analysis, their theoretical foundations and practice of their usage are key parts of the studies. After finishing this subject, the students should learn how to carry out a contract when setting up cooperation, how to analyse individual transactions or how prevent people from playing “mind games” in the workplace.
