- The purpose of this course is to equip students with an understanding of important issues and theories in positive psychology.
- Learning outcomes (in Czech)
- By the end of the course, students will be able to: • Articulate selected, key components of positive psychology • Critically assess studies and interventions designed to improve well-being • Apply techniques to foster positive change in their own lives and in the lives of others.
- Teaching methods (in Czech)
- Course consists of 10 lectures. Students are expected to complete readings prior to class and be ready for group discussion.
- Assessment methods (in Czech)
- Students' grades will be based on participation in class, a 7-10 minute in-class presentation, and an APA style final essay (5-8 pages).
