- Course objectives
- The aim is orientation of students in areas of practical applications of clinical psychology and psychotherapy. This course provides practical development of theoretical knowledge acquired during studies, it facilitates an effective entry of graduates in the area of practical clinical psychology and gives a possibility of expanding students' overview of options and fields of psychologist position in the clinical practice. The practice will be held in departments and clinics focused on the most frequent range of patients, particularly on patients with psychotic disorders, with personality disorders, neurotic patients with developed anxiety and depressive syndromes, with an eating disorder, with organic disorders, pediatric patients with developmental disorders till 3 years, pediatric patients with psychopathological, somatic and psychosomatic spectrum, psychosomatic patients and patients with psychopathology in a response to serious somatic disease.
- Learning outcomes
- After taking this course students will be able:
- to relate their practical experiences with theoretical knowledge from previous courses
- to reflect on the practical limitations that preacticing psychologist encounter and on the ways they use to deal with them
- to reflect og their experiences and discuss them in a career discussion. - Syllabus

- Teaching methods
- Student will participate in the internship in selected clinics, hospitals and specialized medical and non-medical facilities.
- Assessment methods
- Students must submit two documents to Study materials: 1) Transcript of internship (completed and certified by the department, scanned); 2) The experience report (minimum 1 page, prepared by the student) Documents to download study materials in the subject. The credit is awarded to students after a meeting of students and the supervisor, there will be discussion and evaluation of internships by students. 2-3 meetings will be announced during the exam period.
