- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to deepen knowledge and skills in the field of child counseling psychology - particularly with an emphasis on the ability to apply learned skills in practice and to create one's own procedures based on theory.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: - respond to a wide range of topics in child counseling from a psychologist's perspective - they will be able to analyze a problem and conduct an intervention - for the practice of a school psychologist, they will be able to prepare procedures for difficult events at school, such as deaths, accidents, etc. - they will be able to recognize the risks and benefits of various intervention programs and approaches

- the start of school, integration of a new student or a student after a long absence, risks and benefits of integration and educational trips; inclusion; deaths, self-harm, suicides; issues of preschool age and training in counseling situations; counseling work with teachers and creating individual educational plans; children from different linguistic and cultural environments

- The course is concluded with a credit awarded for active participation in individual teaching sessions - the course is designed for a small number of students and is based on intensive interaction throughout all teaching sessions.
