- Course objectives
- To understand principles of macroeconomics, key macroeconomic policies, and tools for macroeconomic policy analysis.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be knowledgeable about the functioning of the macroeconomy and be able to identify the anticipated consequences of various fiscal, monetary, and exchange rate policies. They should be able to appraise policy impact on key macroeconomic indicators as well as to distinguish short-run and medium-run effects of macroeconomic policies.
