- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- analyze conflict situation from the intrapsychic, interindividual and intergroup perspective
- apply some of the methods of conflict resolution in which they act as a third person (a therapist)
- process constructively a conflict between a client and themselves in the position of a psychotherapist
- reflect their own approach to conflicts and strategy of resolution, and also the resulting limitations - Syllabus
- 1. Conflict, its meaning, ways of resolution, reflection of one's own experience; conflict on intrapsychic, interpersonal and intergroup level
- 2. Methods of working with intrapsychic conflict
- 3. Methods of working with dyadic conflict
- 4. Processing a conflict between client and therapist
- 5. Intractable conflicts, domestic violence

- Lectures, experiential exercises, reflection of one's own life experience, training in methods of conflict resolution, discussion, case reports.
