- Course objectives
- The course aims at familiarising students with the development of Czech journalism from its beginnings at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries to the mid-19th century. The course focuses on the issues of the news pamphlet production of the 16th and 17th centuries, the beginnings of the periodical press in the 18th century, the press production in the National Revival era, as well as the emergence of modern political journalism in 1848-1849.
