Course objectives
The seminar focuses on writing reports and their analysis. At the end of the course students should be able to: critically evaluate, categorize and comment reports (work in this course includes texts from daily newspapers and weekly journals and magazines), characterize trends in contemporary reportage, create own texts.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to the theoretical basis of reporting.
  • 2. Practical interpretation of reports.
  • 3. Differences between reports in different types of journals.
  • 4. Writing reports, analysis.
  • 5. Critical evaluation of texts.
  • 6. Work with reports from newspapers and magazines.
  • 7. Evaluation, reflection and analysis of texts.
