Course objectives
The goal is to introduce the area of practical aplication of clinical psychology and psychotherapy to students. Students will gain practical skills in framework of prticular clinical work with clients and by that will extend his/her theoretical knowledge gained in the course of study. Student gets a broad overview of different possibilities of clinical psychologists in various areas of clinical work. Represented clinical institutions: Deparment of psychiatry FNB, Childrens hospital FNB, Childbearing FNB, Psychiatric clinic Brno-Černovice, FNUSA. According the individual student demands there is a possibility to have the Work Experience with private clinical psychologists under a clinical psychologist with appropriate clinical erudition. Syllabus
  • Child psychopathology and psychosomatics Child somatic disorder and forms of suitable psychotherapy Clinical examination of child patient according standardized methods and output processing Psychopathology and psychosomathics of adults Communities of patients in day institutions and particular departments Group psychotherapy of patiens with personality disorders and neurotic disorders Group psychltherapy of patients with psychotic disorders Clinical examination of patients by standardized psychodiagnostical methods and output processing.
