Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain the theoretical-methodological principles of environmental research in the area of humanities. It also introduces information on the logic and strategy of empirical exploration, methods and techniques of data collecting. The aim of the course is to contribute to the ability of students to define their own research project.

The qualitative research, 8. Public opinion research, 9. Data collection techniques, 10. Planning the project, 11. Presentation of projects I., 12. Presentation of projects II., 13. Final discussion

Teaching methods
Teaching methods include lectures, students´ individual work (reading of obligatory literature) and discussions.
Assessment methods
1. Essay (3 pages - the issue will be specified), 2. Written test from the obligatory literature, 3. Seminar work (5 pages - the research project), 4. Oral exam.
