- Course objectives
- The aim of lecture is to gain practical experience in some of the basic forms of scientific communication. Among them will be writing of abstract, empirical article, poster/presentation, grant proposal, article review. In the course, large portion of individual activity of students is required. Besides one’s own writing/presentation, students will be also giving feedback to other course participants; active participation during seminars is required. Course is recommended for psychology students who: a) are finishing their master thesis b) intend to write an article from an existing text (e.g. bachelor thesis) c) intend to continue studies in doctoral program

- 1. lecture: Introduction to the course and theme. 1. seminar: Writing abstract 2. lecture: Writing empirical article 2. seminar: Discussion about abstracts. 3. lecture: Writing popularization, article review. 3. seminar: Discussion about first drafts of articles. 4. lecture: Presentation/poster preparation. 4. seminar: Discussion about reviews. 5. lecture: Writing grant (and others) proposals. 5. seminar: Discussion about articles and reviews. 6. seminar. Oral presentations.

- Students must attend 80% of sessions (it is possible to miss one lecture and one seminar), give feedback and join discussion during seminars, and complete all assignments before deadlines.
