Course objectives
This is a course for master"s students aimed at students of political science and related fields. The general part of the course is based on the textbook Cambridge Academic English Upper-Intermediate; texts for reading are taken from literature focused on political science.

  • 3. Civil Rights: minorities, women. Activism.
  • 4. Political ideologies.
  • 5. Forms of government, democracy and totalitarianism.
  • 6. Electoral systems, elections in the USA and GB.
  • 7. Interest Groups in Politics.
  • 8. Mass Media and Politics.
  • 9. International Relations.
  • 10. History and role of political parties.
